Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 May 2026
This privacy policy explains how we handle information you provide through this website. We aim to collect only what we need to respond to your enquiry, and we never sell your data.
Who we are
This website is operated by EV Installer Didcot, providing OZEV-approved EV charger installations across Didcot, Oxfordshire and surrounding areas. If you have any privacy questions you can reach us at info@evinstallerdidcot.co.uk.
What we collect
When you submit the quote form we collect your name, phone number, email address, property type, preferred charger brand and any message you choose to include. We also automatically receive your IP address, browser user-agent, the page you arrived from and the country your request came from — this helps us spot abuse and improve the site.
How we use it
We use the information you submit solely to respond to your quote request and, if you book an installation, to deliver that service. We do not send marketing emails, we do not share your details with third parties for marketing, and we do not sell your data.
Where it goes
Form submissions are sent securely to our internal workflow system (an n8n instance) where we can reply to you. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may log standard request metadata for security and performance reasons.
Analytics
We use a self-hosted Umami analytics instance to count visits and understand which pages are useful. Umami is privacy-friendly: it does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personally identifying information. No data is shared with Google or other advertising networks.
Cookies
This site does not set any tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser may store small technical items required for the site to function, but none of these identify you personally.
How long we keep it
Quote enquiries are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up if needed and for our own accounting records. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email info@evinstallerdidcot.co.uk and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The 'last updated' date at the top will always show when it last changed.
